Sherry and I were friends through grade school. We spent many a night at each other's houses. I loved her crazy interaction with her brothers when I was there. I was sad to hear of her passing.

I remember Sheri as a sweet, smart and fun young lady. I hope she had a great life. Does anyone know how and when she passed? Did she have a family? I am sad that she is not in this world.

Sheri was, indeed, a sweet girl with an instant laugh. She was the best friend of Sue Ward and the two of them had a "secret language" that drove me crazy.

She was killed in a traffic accident somewhere between LA and San Diego just a few years after graduation...

If my memory is right and believe me I could be so wrong. Sheri worked 2 jobs. She was driving home in the early hours and getting off the 605 at Katella and didn't make that long curve. Sheri was one of the sweetest girls that I knew.

Yes, Sheri was my best friend for many years, and Pat is right we did have our own language!.   She was a great friend and a wonderful person and even after all these years I still miss her!.   She was killed in a car accident driving home just before her 30th birthday.  She had married and her husband was overseas at the time.  She was looking so foward to him coming home and being together again, it was heartbreaking for all.  She was at my daughter's first birthday party and it was to her that Kami took her first steps, I have the video of that party and it was my last time with her and I will treasure it forever.  My life was richer being her friend and knowing her family.

Sheri was unique.  I was at work one day and I received a call from her brother Howard.  I thought that he was calling me to say that Sheri was going to have a baby.  I was devastated to hear that she had been in such a terrible accident that took her life.  I was scheduled for surgery the next day, and was not able to attend her services.  It was hard for me to accept this loss, I feel like I had no closure since I did not get to say our goodbyes.  I miss Sheri dearly.
